365 #109 – Leaf

I was collecting my daughter from a stables where she was helping out today. I got a few obligatory horse shots, but then the way the evening sun was hitting leafs and backlight other leafs appealed to me so I grabbed a few shots. When I was processing the shot I tried it out in B+W and was very pleased with the results, so while it was the warm sunlight that caught my attention I much prefer the B+W version.

I usually love the glowing green colour of these kind of shots so much that I am surprised how much I like this b+w version. It’s so textural.
