365 #93 – Mum

Today being mother’s day my 365 had to be of my mother, I expect protacted negotiations as Mum is like me and rather camera shy. However, my approach was a statement of fact, that she was my subject for the day and thankfully she didn’t really put up much of a fight. There again mum would do pretty much anything for me, my family, my brother & sister – it’s who she is, always ready and willing to help. Mum loves her garden and so there was only one place to take the shot, with part of her garden in the frame, so … here is my Mum and my friend. Thanks for agreeing Mum and Happy Mother’s Day!

I agree, a lovely portrait. Ok, there’s a mixtures of relaxed and doubt in her face, but then again I suppose that is exactly how she felt. What does she say about it?
