Sadly the St.Cronan’s craft fair never happened due to the inclement weather which hit Ireland. It’s a pity for the School as the fair is normally a good fund raiser, of course I was also disappointed as I didn’t get to display my prints.
However, as the saying goes, every cloud (even snow clouds) have a silver lining. In my case the silver lining is that even though I didn’t get to display my work, all of the mounted & framed prints I had prepared for the exhibition were taken by Craft Framing, 3 Dublin Road, Bray, Tel: 01.286 6728 and are now on display and available for purchase. Added to that, I’ve been asked to provide more prints for display.
A big “Thank You” goes to Ian in Craft Framing for all his help and support, in helping me getting started with selling my work. If you are visiting Bray, do stop at Craft Framing (you’ll be passing it on the way into the town) and take a look, aside from my work he has a great variety of gifts, paintings and of course frames.
Also a thank you to my friends on Boards.ie & Twitter for their guidance and support. Finally and by no means least, a huge thank you to my wife and children, for their unstinting support.
